Martial arts champion and star of Walker, Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris dies.
The action star who became a global symbol of toughness and later internet legend rose to fame as a karate champion before breaking into film, most notably opposite Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon.
He went on to headline 1980s action movies and became a household name on television.
His family says he lived his life with faith, purpose, and unwavering commitment to the people he loved.
Norris died suddenly yesterday after a medical emergency in Hawaii.
A suspected war criminal arrested in Mobile, Alabama for his role in the civil war that raged in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s.
And a massive animal rescue operation is underway in Los Angeles County in what could be the largest such rescue in U.S.
Animal Care and Control says its investigators found an estimated 700 dogs and cats at the Rock and Paws Animal Rescue in the Lake Hughes area after serving a warrant for violations on animal welfare laws.
Veterinarian staff members are triaging animals at the site, rushing others to medical centers.
