Chapter 1: What does President Trump say about NATO's role?
The president calls NATO weak. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. President Trump a short time ago before leaving the White House for Florida.
You know, we don't use the strait. We don't, the United States, we don't need it. Europe needs it. Korea, Japan, China, a lot of other people. So they'll have to get involved a little bit on that one.
And earlier he told Fox's Martha McCallum during a phone call that if NATO won't help with the Strait of Hormuz now that he knows when the big one comes, they won't be there for us. Meantime, the Pentagon is sending more warships and Marines to the Middle East in the second deployment of service members to the region in the past week.
A task force of about 4,500 sailors and Marines and three more warships are joining the U.S. fleet already carrying out attacks on Iran. President Trump offered an update on the Iran war during a trophy presentation for the Naval Academy's football team.
Them and us, they had a Navy two weeks ago. They have no Navy anymore. It's all at the bottom of the sea.
The latest deployment will overlap with another Marine Expeditionary Unit also making its way to the Middle East from Japan. Earlier this week, President Trump said he was not sending ground troops into Iran. At the White House, Jared Halpern, Fox News.

Yesterday, police divers recovered Gracie's body from the sea from a marina in Barcelona. And oil prices are climbing. U.S. crude near $98 a barrel. Stocks are falling. Because the eyes of the Ranger are upon you.
The action star who became a global symbol of toughness and later internet legend rose to fame as a karate champion before breaking into film, most notably opposite Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon. The 70-year-old taken into custody by U.S. Marshals as federal court documents accuse Hamdi Alukic of committing war crimes in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1992. A former neighbor from his Wilmer neighborhood in the western part of the state is stunned. That just completely blows my mind because I've never seen that coming. That's pretty wild.
Witnesses interviewed claim Alukic was a member of a Bosnian Muslim paramilitary group. Records show he planned and carried out two different attacks that killed two people. Plus, he's accused of ambushing a car with other members of the same group, shooting at the driver and setting the vehicle on fire with a body still inside. CJ Papa, Fox News.
