It seems more cheeky than anything else, but –
There are a few things that I admire about this story that is being told.
The performances and the sort of back and forth banter, the rat-a-tat.
between the two leads is really, for me, the meat of this.
It's the thing that I'm able to latch onto and take something from.
I also just think it's really visually stunning.
I love the way the barn, it feels spooky.
Like there's a lot of tension in there, the way it's designed.
And I love the images of the ghost and how that is presented.
And there's a moment that kind of like
as soon as I saw it, I was like, oh, this is giving me Get Out vibes.
If you see it, you will know, you will understand what I mean.
I don't know if that inspired this, but it's very similar.
