The racism still exists, and we have to fight it every day, else we may find it becoming more pervasive and more harmful.
Well, that man that you see is my neighbor in Houston.
That was Mr. Nels, who grabbed the sign and tried to rip it away from me.
They were they were giving me admonitions.
They were warning me.
They were saying things like this is wrong.
You know, you're wrong.
You shouldn't do this.
There was no name calling in the sense of some sort of pejorative that associated with the N word.
Nothing like that.
And I want to be honest and fair to even them after the way they behave.
But it was a mob like mentality.
it was very aggressive and it did cause some consternation, but not to the extent that it would cause me to do anything less than what I did.
Well, one would assume that while they may have preferred that I not do this, that they would not behave the way they did, if not but for the fact that what you said is true.
They do seem to have a greater disdain for the signage that speaks truth than they do for the president who allowed this
to be displayed for some time, who never expressed disapproval, who never said this was wrong.
To this day, he has not given us an indication that he believes that this signage is something that should be abhorred.
He has not.
The president, unfortunately,
tends to associate himself with people who would post what he posted.
