Now, in March, the federal government released a series of expectations of data centres and AI infrastructure developers.
And they say meeting these national expectations will be the foundation of their social licence to operate in Australia.
So what did you think of those?
So do you think your industry has already got a social licence, do you think?
So what do you do about water?
I mean, that has been a persistent criticism of data centers around the world.
And Australia is actually a dry country.
I mean, Europe and America have got a lot more rivers in them than we do.
What is it being recycled from?
Captured what?
You mean from sewer water?
Do you think we'll end up moving on to desalination as well or instead?
And what about electricity?
I mean, it's noticeable that when you talk about the size of your data centers and what you're doing, you talk about it in terms of megawatts, which is electricity.
So obviously, electricity is what it's all about.
So what are you doing to the demand for electricity?
That's before you move on.
That's actually Moore's law was twice, I think it was doubling every 18 months, I think.
Yeah, but the new law is like every shorter time, isn't it?
And will the consequence of your industry expanding at the rate you're talking about be that it pushes up everyone's power bill, do you think?
