Once you've established that you have the talent, it's about the hang.
It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people that you're with.
You know, Rob and I was always a great hang.
We would sit in kibbutz for hours and then eventually get around to the music.
That's what I mostly think of when I think of him, the time together laughing.
I literally filmed in his apartment in Queensbridge.
His moms were still up in that apartment.
His pops used to live near me in Harlem.
His dad introduced him to a whole lot of, you know, conscious stuff, and he made a young prodigy.
