Yeah, so he currently has a collar that was fitted by the Uganda Conservation Foundation.
But historically, he's had collars from various different institutions.
We collared him in 2018.
And subsequently, he's been monitored by different people.
So yeah, he's monitored on like a daily basis.
Yeah, so unfortunately, the thing is with Jacob, he kind of, you know, when they say cats have got nine lives, he literally has had nine lives.
So he survived, before he lost the leg, he survived a snare, a wire snare.
So he managed to walk away with just a bit of a maiming, but he was fine.
He still had the leg.
Then he lost the back leg.
Then his pride got poisoned.
So the lions in that particular case were poisoned because of actual targeted body, the body trade for lion parts.
So six lions were killed in that poisoning event.
Somehow he dodged that and managed to survive with a couple of his brothers.
So, yeah, so that's a problem that we're seeing across a lot of places in Africa.
We're seeing it in Mozambique, parts of South Africa, and it's fueled by the demand for lion body parts and the medicinal markets around that.
Then he got gored by a buffalo and he managed to survive that too.
Obviously, there was a treatment process that, again, the Uganda Wildlife Authority helped him.
But, yeah, this guy, if we actually count, he's probably used four of his nine lives that we probably know of.
Exactly.
