I believe Celtic could go on and win it, but listen, I could fall on my face here because it could all, Hearts could win the league on Wednesday night, so we all say that at the beginning with these split fixtures, we're going to twist and turns, Rangers have obviously failed out it, they can't win it now, it's a two horse race, but I still think Celtic will win the league.
they were excellent that night when they beat Celtic in that previous fixture it was going to be a right tough night there's no way Celtic are going there thinking they're going to get results maybe I thought that many years ago when Celtic were right on top but that's not been the case this season Murdo will play a brand of football it's exciting it's great to watch they've had a fantastic result over the course of the season their manager's been getting a lot of applause it's been rightly so it's going to be a right tough fixture but then we'll go to the hearts game as well
obviously I'm connected to Falkirk we're going there we're going to try and win that's the John McGlynn way every game we've been into this season we've went to try and win Halkett, Leonard get picked up injuries at the weekend but they've got a massive squad so they can bring players in again so it's all to play for it's exciting it's a business end and we're all looking forward to it it's Gordon I was thinking about I was getting confused Liam Gordon yeah big boy Gordon did relatively well the other day as well
26 years.
Yep.
Can I cut in a minute, please?
Aye, sure.
One thing for me yesterday, I think it was Romans and Johnston had a wee rollover just beside the goal.
Out of all the Rangers players, it was the 18-year-old kid that was going to back him up in an old firm game.
Mikey Moore.
I've seen that, I've seen that.
but showed that resilience and that character to bounce back as a caller Gary just mentioned there they've won six in the bounce listen Celtic have been conceding goals but they've still been scoring goals to win the games and it's been the odd goal here or there whereas Rangers have been conceding two and threes which has been the problem there but Celtic of late
have not been excellent in every single game but they're getting the job done they're winning it's at this business end of the season where all that matters is winning and Celtic are doing that right now and they've got that momentum with two games to go I think I think they're hitting form very much at the right time you're epitomised by Maeda six goals in his last four
if Hearts don't win the league it's not as if I heard everybody saying they were going to fall away they were going to bottle it Hearts have been excellent throughout and if Hearts do going to win it they deserve every bit of praise that's going to come their way because their manager he's been right at the front foot of it being a true leader and you can see the players with him they're all together fantastic spirit within that group who knows what's going to happen in this next week How much do you attribute that recent success to Martin O'Neill Gary?
He's been there before and he's done it so he brings that experience there but he's been at other great clubs as well.
He's been a fantastic manager, he's now come in the second time this season to help Celtic out.
he's done a fantastic job the first time, he's come back into stead of the ship again after the Nancy period, and he has been chasing, and he has been mentioning that in the press conference, but he's continued to chase, now he's got to sell within one point, with two games to go, with that last game at Celtic Park, so, all eyes are on Wednesday night to see what both results go.
Celtic have got a really difficult fixture in Motherwell, Hearts are obviously at home, Falkirk will be a tough game for them as well, but Martin O'Neill, your original point, he's been outstanding for Celtic in this two spells over the course of the season and you can see the players responding to him and as me and Alec were speaking about there, Hearts and Celtic, about that togetherness, both clubs have got that at the moment and that's because I believe they've got two real leaders at the front foot, two right good managers experienced, know how to get their players going.
yeah for me I don't think you should be laughing and joking like you see how much it means to the Rangers fans and I don't think it's a good look so I think if he wants to speak to him listen they could be mates you shake hands after the game and you speak inside you don't laugh and joke on the pitch when it's so serious it's this business end of the season we're so much at stake I just think it was a really bad look
I don't know, they've been so dominant over the last couple of years that I can't remember Do you think that has an impact on things this week?
