And I think that that's part of the chess match of this is,
to your point of, of tiring out Wemby, can we make Wemby follow call or get crawl going after where Wemby can't really help off of, um, and again, the guy's like seven, four, I get his definition of help is, is different than other people's, uh, given how much space he can cover.
I think part of it, to your point, is making Carl enough of a threat to where you can find ways to open things up for Jalen Brunson because they don't win this series if he's not scoring at a high enough level for them.
He was getting... Carl, I feel like, was the unsung hero of game one while Jalen was the hero of the game.
And there is some yin and yang to me of what can you get Carl to do to make Wambanyama...
create enough space for Jalen to sneak in there and let him do his thing simultaneously.
I am not big on the X's and O's.
I'm not an armchair coach.
That's how they don't know basketball.
But I always, one of my mottos in life is to try to not look stupid and embarrass myself.
And despite that, I'm still really good at it.
So that is my point, though, is that there is a domino effect of
calls impact on how Wemby defends and what the rest of the Knicks can do as a result of it.
To me, it's the fact that they're playing with a first-year coach, right?
You know, Tom Thibodeau was there for years, and he wasn't just there for years.
You know, he had known Jalen Brunson since he was a little kid.
This whole front office basically is a bunch of Thib's disciples.
Obviously, Carl played for him in Minnesota.
And I do think that there was an adjustment period of everybody kind of figuring out what Mike Brown wants to do differently and how they can grow into that and adjust to it.
