I mean, they've cast in on the ball guy for 30 years after he's, he's played like that's been the brand.
So I think there's a sense now in the city and maybe even around the building that that's just not going to cut it anymore.
Does that mean they're going to be as strong as strong handed as saying, let's, let's rebuild or,
No, but I think they did go into the season saying they were going to put less emphasis on a playoff berth and more emphasis on development.
And Billy Donovan right now, I mean, he's benching the guy you want to develop at the end of games.
So there's a lot going on here.
I can just say they're not going to rebuild, at least not right now.
But they are going to try to do something with all these expirings and make something happen, make something respectable happen.
Um...
No, I don't know about a perfect free agent fit for them.
The issue for them is that it's good for them that Josh Giddey is proving to be worth the deal they got him on.
Yeah, it's a good value deal for Josh, yeah.
Yes, but the issue I'd say is that
The system almost lends itself to him, which is maybe what you sign up for when you build around him.
But I don't think the vision for this team, or at least what it should be, he's probably the third best player in that vision.
So where do you even start to get the kind of guys...
that you can surround them with, that you can say, hey, this guy's better than Josh Giddey.
He brings that offensive punch.
He brings this.
He brings that.
