And we'll talk to you guys again next Saturday.
Andrew, our top story this week is the situation in Milwaukee.
After missing a four-game stretch during which the Bucs went 0-4 and dropped as low as the 11th seed in the East, Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the lineup this week.
But unfortunately, the return of Giannis wasn't enough to avoid an embarrassing loss on Monday night to the Washington Wizards, who were drunk with power off their two-week stint on the Wheel of Fandom.
All right.
Complicating matters, in the first few minutes of a game against Detroit, Giannis pulled up with a calf strain, an injury that is expected to keep him sidelined for another three to four weeks.
The one bit of good news for Bucs fans this week is that the Bucs actually won that game against Detroit, 113 to 109, despite Giannis only playing three minutes.
The Bucs are currently 10 and 13, 10th in the East.
Now, from a player potentially asking to leave a franchise to a player being asked to leave, Chris Haynes reported late Tuesday night that the Los Angeles Clippers were sending future Hall of Famer Chris Paul home.
Get out of here.
The move came just days after CP3 had announced that this would be his final NBA season.
Subsequent reporting from the athletic Sam Amick, Law Murray, and Joe Varden revealed that the reasoning behind the Clippers' dismissal of CP3 was essentially that Chris Paul was really annoying, arguably the one thing that everyone knows about Chris Paul.
Now, here's a fun Chris Paul stat from friend of the show, Law Murray.
The Clippers have not had a losing season since acquiring Chris Paul in December 2011.
And in fact, the other 29 teams have all had at least one losing season since the Clippers last losing season in 2010-11.
Wow.
Now, unfortunately for the Clippers, that streak appears to be coming to an end, as the Clippers currently sit at 6-16, 13th in the West, though they did get a nice win in their first game post-CP3, a 115-92 win over the Hawks.
Some other Clippers news this week, Joe Varden reported that, quote,
will boy i i i hope i hope i hope they don't dilly-dally andrew because i don't know i don't know if one franchise could survive the loss of both sga and lawrence frank
Now, as everyone knows, the Clippers' poor play doesn't just affect them.
