I mean, I don't have a great answer.
I think for parents, I would recommend the book The Anxious Generation, which talks about smartphone usage and social media and how it has negatively impacted a lot of young people.
That means you probably shouldn't be exposing your kids to smartphones and social media at a very young age.
And then maybe reflect a bit on how AI relates to that.
I think AI obviously...
has tremendous potential for good in education and so on.
But I think we shouldn't just like let our kids run around with like AI smartwatches that they can talk to 24 seven, which I know it's getting common someplace.
My view is like a bit of a barbell approach where you kind of have two extremes.
One is totally organic, no smart devices, no screens out in the woods or playing football or touching grass.
And then the other one, like super frontier in,
engage with the latest technology, learn to use AI, and then do both, but have a healthy balance.
