And so at that point, I, there are times when I've taken these trainings or I listen in and I'm like, wow, it's amazing how surface level people understand hypnosis, but they don't really understand the scientific methodology and the mechanisms that are at play.
Right.
There's so many hypnotherapists that don't understand the neuro programming that's happening underneath this all.
Or why does one suggestion work and one not?
And how do you get off a script?
Like why scripts are wonderful, but a script is only as good as the commonalities that we all share.
It's not uniquely positioned to your subconscious and the language it speaks.
Like we're all unique.
And so I do find that
it's in practice that you really begin to get great, but you also have to go in with a curiosity of what didn't work today with my client.
Cause let's face it.
Like I did not get nominated best of New York because I was perfect from the beginning.
I made my, I've had tons of failures and fuck ups and lots of clients that have only come for one session and don't come back.
But I had to like, look at it and go, well,
what's going on here, right?
That curiosity.
So I can begin to learn more.
And I also had the benefit of mentoring with like a lot of really great people who were in the psych world, who also were hypnotherapists and had additional training to sort of guide me and business people, because let's face it, we are three people in that office, right?
We're the business side, we're the practitioner, and then we're the person and they're,
they can be in conflict quite often when you're running your practice.
