And I'll give you an example, something that actually happened to me.
I'm a runner.
I am very into protecting my daily run.
It's incredibly important to me.
It's where I get my best ideas.
It's focus time.
And my team knows this.
In fact, they're probably sick of me talking about running all the time.
But there was this one month where I was so heads down in so much content consumption and I was just underwater and I had no more cognitive energy to read any more stuff.
And one of my colleagues needed me to read one of his papers.
And I kept pulling it off, kept like delaying it week after week.
And finally he sent me an email one Friday and the email just said like for your Friday run.
And it was a link to a podcast he had generated off of the paper.
exactly so I could go out on the run and listen listen to the paper and again this is like a new a new type of working right a new market almost because no way would I have wanted him to sit down for 30 minutes and record a podcast about this paper right like that would not have been a good expenditure of his time and energy but to literally just hand it over to AI and say create a podcast out of this and send it to me so I could consume it more easily like wow that is yeah pretty cool
I was reading this report from 1995 the other day that was all about how do Americans feel about the internet so 1995 pretty early in the days of the internet it's an amazing report Pew Research Institute published it in 1995 and one of the key findings was there's no indication that news consumption patterns will change laughter
Like, no one thought we were going to move away from, like, physical newspapers.
And then, like, fast forward, like, you know, decades later, the landscape has completely changed when it comes to news.
And AI is going to do the same thing, right?
News consumption will fundamentally change.
It will be super personalized, probably.
