It's not a threat.
I mean, he might want to take it as a threat, take it how you want to take it.
But the truth is I can't do this anymore.
I cannot do this anymore.
So if you don't acknowledge it or if you don't take it seriously or if we don't see eye to eye, that's fair.
But it's not fair for me to stay in a relationship where I know not only am I not being emotionally fulfilled but I know it's going to get worse and worse and I'm just going to resent you.
And worse than resenting your partner is resenting yourself for staying when you know you should have maybe left or staying when you know you should have done something to like really make sure that you've, you know, left every single stone unturned.
So that would be my recommendation for you because you want to know you did everything in your power.
And then that's the beauty of it.
You do everything in your power.
Then there's so many things that are not in your power, but you don't have control over that.
You don't have control over his actions, but you do have control over what you do with your time and who you choose to spend it with.
So ask yourself those questions and hopefully you're able to get closer to an answer.
But the biggest question out of all of them is the first question I asked you.
If he was to never change, if he had a crystal ball and I said, you know what?
He's never going to change.
He will never come around ever, ever, ever.
If we just knew, what would you do?
Because I think if you're equipped enough and ready enough, you'd be like, I'd just pull the pin today.
The only thing worse than, you know, like you don't want to stay another week, another six months, another year.
