The weather is incredible.
The people are super interesting.
And even though I live in San Francisco and it's a very small city, having lived in London for 15 years, it does feel like a very, very small city.
But I think part of its beauty is that it is such a small city.
And so you're constantly bumping into people.
I've never lived in a city where or in a place really where on a daily basis you bump into people on the street that you know, you know, going for walks or doing walking meetings or, you know, I've got kids.
So like in the kids parks.
And so in some ways you are constantly networking because you're constantly bumping into people.
Downtown San Francisco, yeah.
And I would say that most of the energy right now around startups is in San Francisco itself.
It's interesting to see how many of the VCs have moved there.
their primary office from Santa Laura Road and Menlo Park all the way down to San Francisco.
So it does feel like San Francisco.
And I think particularly since OpenAI and Anthropica are based there as well, it sort of brought all the energy back into the city.
Yeah, basically.
So I spent the last 10 years trying to find founders basically before they founded a company.
So trying to find incredible individuals who are really talented and then working with them from the point where they're sort of considering becoming a founder all the way through to the point where they become seed funded.
And so we, you know, the thing that we do that is different is that we really focus on the founder rather than the company.
You know, we don't even ask people about the ideas when we're speaking to them.
We just want to get to know them, their behaviors, their preferences, their aspirations, their ambitions.
