Are you a veteran that can come in and not just contribute on the ice, but help these young players know how to mature as, you know, as we say, quote unquote, a true pro.
And then as those vets age out, now how do you fill those holes?
And now are you looking for more of a tweener type player that's maybe going to only be with you a couple of years?
And as you improve, your draft picks get lower.
You guys are talking about it all the time right now.
It's such a layered multi-year process because it's not just get the roster in place and you're good.
It's you have to get the roster in place, consistently improve, and then find a way to maintain.
I mean, I think we only have two to prove the concept so far, right.
But, but I hope so to answer your question, I think, and I'm on record on this, you know, this whole idea of quote unquote data driven to me, what that signals to me is that hockey teams aren't looking for nerds to run their front office.
And they're certainly not saying that a hockey voice isn't necessary because I personally believe that of course it is, but it's,
This is about saying these are multi-million, if not billion-dollar businesses.
And so for every decision we make, there has to be a structure for analyzing how we go about making that decision in place.
We have to make sure it's the right structure.
We have to make sure we're asking the right questions the right way.
