Um, and so I do enjoy a tough time focusing myself in particular, but, um, yeah, you work your way through it.
You navigate it as best you can.
Um, knowing full well that, um, if you stay true to your values, then, um, the you'll, you'll be able to ride yourself through it.
And, um, that's, that's what's happened.
Foggy's been able to move on.
I've been able to move on and.
Um, yeah, a lot, a lot more clear in here to, to, to actually focus on what I got to focus on.
Let's get this club back, um, towards the top of the ladder.
Oh, it's just, you got your, you channeling the energy towards the things that, um, you need to, to, to coach a footy club.
You got, um, yeah, over, over 40 young men that are chasing their dream and, um, and
the reason reason i'm involved is a really great passion for the game and i'm trying to help these kids live live their dream too and um that is um that that has never uh become diluted for me uh right right from the get-go it's what attracted me to coaching in the first instance and uh that that hasn't wavered one little bit but when something else happens in your life that that takes you away from that
Um, you can't do your job anywhere near as well as what you'd like.
So, um, it's good that, um, yeah, we can just focus on the things that will help us climb the ladder.
No, no.
It's always been the same.
You've got a good relationship with your players and it's all about getting the very, very best out of them and buying into team and buying into what we expect.
And when the standards are there, we give them a pat on the back.
And when the standards aren't, we give them a kick up the bum.
Um, so it's, it's pretty simple.
And, um, I've always, um, worked on, um, on the theory that if you develop a really, really strong relationship with anyone, whether it's your partner, whether it's your children, whether it's your friends or, or whether it's the players that you coach, you've got a really, really strong relationship.
