But having our best, particularly our white ball players, playing in the BBL is what's made the competition great.
So it's almost our number one priority is to focus on that group of players and ensure that they feel valued and are part of our competition and, in fact, keep being the backbone of our league.
And that's right in front of mind.
I think the club's been on the record that they're looking at different venue options, home venues.
Their agreement with Marvel Stadium was up after last season.
They've been looking at options.
It's a bit early to make any announcements, but I think we'll finalise that with them in the coming weeks as we start to launch and release schedules during July.
That was on the cards regardless of, I guess, the recent discussions around the club, but we'll work through that with him.
I'm not going to run ahead of that.
That's obviously a discussion between the Renegades and their venue options.
I think they're definitely looking at what the alternatives are.
I think Marvel's been a great home for the Renegades for a long time and
despite or, you know, in spite of some of the challenges, you know, from an on-field perspective with the service and the wicket, it's been great to go and watch games there and players have enjoyed it.
But, you know, the competition's continuing to evolve and the Renegades want to make sure they've got the best mix of home grounds.
No, I mean, the integrity of the competition means they need to be pretty hard and fast.
It needs to be, I guess, one size fits all in the sense of contracting rules and you want as little grey as you can.
That's one of the big pieces of work we're working through is regardless of whether it's all the teams have private investors in it or only some, that you need a level playing field on the field and that takes into account
whether you've got outside investment coming in, whether the team remains held by the state association.
What is a non-negotiable for us is a fair and even playing field.
It is complex, though, to your original question.
