So everybody goes through that startup phase.

And then you get into what I call the pioneer phase. This is phase two. And in the pioneer phase, you are in the mid six figures of your business, let's say around 500K in revenue. So you're starting to build a small team and you are in the thick of, you know, you're getting your hands dirty.

It's your baby. And you're afraid to trust this team. And you have a lot riding on it. You have a lot of expense, a lot of people depending on you.

And so you feel like that you have to be a bit of a control freak sometimes. And so oftentimes, business owners get stuck in the pioneer phase and never leave. And this is why the business really doesn't grow. You think you're helping, but you really are hurting the business overall.

Now, if the business continues to grow and you start adding more team members, then we're going to get into phase three, which I call the ringleader phase. And the reason I call it the ringleader phase is because it's a bit of a circus in phase three. And you might think, well, Allison, could we just skip phase three altogether and hop on over to phase four?
