And this expands far beyond this moment, which is why I'm talking about it.
You may view this as insignificant, but I see this as so much of what's happening right now in the modern day.
People coming in in the name of diversity, equity, inclusion,
saying that their culture just has a right to show up at any time at any given moment even if it feels somewhat inappropriate or if it derails the moment that is happening right before everybody's eyes at a concert that they've all paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars to be at and you extend that to society where we're all just meant to go oh
Oh, it's your culture.
So now we can just allow you to do whatever you want.
And so long as you say it's my culture on the other end of it, not only do we just allow whatever it is you want to do, regardless of what it is, but we also have to apologize if you receive any sort of criticism, pushback, or confusion on the other end of sharing your culture so widely.
And it's still not enough.
Even with her apology, one of the top responses is this.
This apology is just to escape from the negative attention.
Her face reaction to the fan is the harsh reality of her feelings.
So now this moment lives on.
forever in infamy, I guess, for Sabrina Carpenter because this is the face she made when she heard the cultural cheer slash scream of a culture that she was not even familiar with, of something she did not even know existed, and something that was clearly interrupting the work that she was trying to do on a stage as big as the one that exists at Coachella.
Be so f***ing for real.
I never thought I'd be one to be up here defending Sabrina Carpenter, but you know, sometimes people need defense from these things.
We do not align politically whatsoever, me and this girl, but oh my gosh, is this the moment where we should all look around and see just how ridiculous the world has become?
