This is a very deep personal response because it affects the person that I love the most in all the world.
You know, we've been together and known each other sort of since we were 15.
And I know this man through and through.
And I think that one of the biggest problems we've got in New Zealand is that we're a small country.
So if you think about how do New Zealanders actually get their information, there's relatively β if you stay away from the Looney Tunes and the conspiracy β
There's relatively few amounts of mechanisms for disseminating information out.
And so, you know, if you go to the US, you go, OK, if I'm a Democrat, then I'm going to sit and watch CNN and they will reinforce all of my values and thoughts and I can go away feeling good.
If, you know, if you go to Fox, then they'll tell you that the current president has won the war, even if he hasn't.
It is.
It is.
But you know that.
You know that that's their alliances and they make it very clear.
But we have a much smaller system of disseminating that information.
And I actually feel as though New Zealanders are somewhat given a disservice because they
The information that comes up is quite a selective piece of information.
And it's chosen by people.
And we believe that what's been given to us is the full story.
We believe that it's the correct story.
And we believe it's factual and it doesn't have an agenda or a bias by anybody.
But I can sometimes go, oh...
