I'm writing in because I really need some outside perspective on a situation that's causing tension between me and my wife.

Yeah.

We then got together, including the sneaking around before telling people.

She told me she doesn't want me traveling one-to-one with this manager at all.

I completely understand where she's coming from emotionally, but this is genuinely part of my job and saying no could make me look unprofessional or difficult at work.

I've reassured my wife repeatedly, but she stood firm that this crosses a boundary for her.

So my question is, am I wrong for thinking this boundary is unreasonable?

Should I accept it to keep the peace?
