I clocked him immediately and thought he was stunning.

And then he came over and we're talking instant chemistry.

Same sense of humor, same energy, really chatty, flirty, but not in a gross way.

And I genuinely don't think I stopped laughing the entire night.

Oh, I like that.

We ended up chatting for hours and one thing led to another and we basically spent the whole weekend together.

He came back to mine on the Friday night and didn't leave until Sunday evening.

Films, a roast, a long walk, loads of snogs and cuddles, the lot.

It felt like something out of a bloody rom-com, honestly.

I couldn't believe it was happening to me.

And then as he's on his way out on the Sunday evening, he goes, so listen, I should probably mention I actually live in Glasgow.

I'm sorry, Glasgow.

Even better, I love Glasgow.

Turns out he's originally from London, still comes back regularly to see his mates and family, but he moved up to Glasgow for work about two years ago and that's very much where his life is now.

He'd only mentioned coming from London and home in Putney, so of course I assumed he lived there, but that was home, home.

He's been texting every day since.

We FaceTimed, had phone calls, even a bit of phone sex.

And he's lovely and I can see he really likes me, but I've never wanted a long distance relationship.
