My parents have both, and I wonder if it's the profession, both being teachers.

Some of their closest friends are my age.

And so they've always like, yeah.

Is that how you feel?

Yes.

I think it's almost like there's less pressure.

I see a lot of their friends who are in the stage of, for people in their 60s, they go to so many weddings because they know so many people of that age group.

And I wonder if there's less pressure there.

to compete and compare there's definitely the wisdom and the perspective thing like I can see that maybe when you're also out of that life stage of having little kids there's no judgment so my parents will offer in the holidays child care to some of their friends or whatever friends

They'll do that sort of stuff and it's like they do not judge anything a parent does because they're just not in the same life stage and they're just like everyone's doing their best.
