That's OK.
We want to win.
We want to win the year.
And, you know, we we call them on Naylor.
I would say maybe four or five days.
We had, we had talked to them for months, but, um, you know, not, not specifically about making trades, but just, you know, they had kind of expressed interest in, um, what, what they were looking for first baseman.
And, and we weren't at that point ready to trade or weren't going to trade.
We were trying to go for it, but, um, you know, when we, when we decided to kind of make those deals, we called them and, um,
and made an offer and it was very, it was fairly quick.
We had a couple other teams that we called back and, um, didn't want to make the trade, didn't want to, um, kind of meet our needs or demands or whatever.
And, uh, and so we made the trade fairly, fairly quick during that day.
But, you know, over, over a period of time, we had had some conversation.
Um, Suarez was probably a little different because, um, Gino was having a great season.
You know, Gino is, as you saw the other night, Gino's a very, he's a, he's when he's hot, he's about as hot as anybody in baseball.
And when he's cold, it can look pretty bad.
And, and, um, he was really hot going into like about mid July.
And then he kind of cooled down a little bit during the, like coming up to the deadline and,
And I think there were probably a handful of teams that maybe got scared off a little bit or what.
And I don't think his market probably wasn't as...
You know, it was good, but it wasn't it wasn't as robust as maybe people would have thought or or as maybe was being put out.
