And so, you know, that was we had we had a small group of teams that had some interest in it.
But at the end of the day, it came down to two teams and the Mariners were the one that we just liked their deal better than when we decided to make that trade.
And it is very challenging to have like five or six guys to trade and then try to trade them all.
Like it's, you know, you don't necessarily want to do that at, you know.
I don't even know what the time would, I think it was like 1259 for us at 1 p.m.
You don't want to do that towards the, you know, the last few minutes of the deadline.
So, you know, taking the best deal that we felt like we could get for Gino was important.
And Gino is an unbelievable human.
He's a great clubhouse guy.
He's like, I'm rooting for Gino and for Naylor for the simple fact that I, you know, just had a really strong connection with those guys.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't think it was like a specific game.

Um,
coming into when we played them, we had, they were our next series and, uh, we played Houston and we really just, we got swept by Houston at home and we laid an egg and it just really sloppy baseball.
Um,
it really was demoralizing to some degree.
Um, we had kind of, we, we left that period and we were very much like, this is, you know, this up and down season is probably, um, it's, it's, it's, it might be hard to dig out of where we, where we are.
And then we went to Pittsburgh and, uh, and we played again, pretty poorly.
