Look, just before you hear this episode, which was fronted not by me, but by the brilliant John Byrne Murdoch from the Financial Times, one of the preeminent data journalists of our age, I wanted to tell you about a guest we've got coming up on Radical called Ben Cohen.

What makes him radical is that Ben & Jerry's aren't just famous for their flavours, they've also staked their reputation on their activism, turning ice cream into a vehicle for values.

Ben Cohen has spent decades arguing that running a business should mean more than just profit.

We'll be asking what radical business activism really looks like, whether big brands should pick sides, and whether his philosophy can withstand the corporate climate in Donald Trump's America.

What Are the Tech Billionaires Really Like? (Your Radical Questions with Reid Hoffman)

Hello! Welcome to Your Radical Questions. This is where I put your magnificent questions to one of our guests. You can engage very, very directly with them through me and I will really pursue answers on your behalf. What a chance, what an opportunity for you to connect with the amazing people we have in this studio. And our guest today, our guest on Thursday's episode is a man who has lived many lives. He was one of the founders of PayPal. There are too many companies to mention. I think the main thing you might know is that he was a co-founder

and really the big brains behind LinkedIn, which now has 1.3 billion users. He's an entrepreneur, an author of many, many books, including Blitzscaling, Super Agency, The Start of You. Those are just the three that I've read. He's an AI pioneer, investor and billionaire, and he is Reid Hoffman. Reid, good to see you. Great to see you. Fantastic to have you with us. Our first question is from Michael.

What Are the Tech Billionaires Really Like? (Your Radical Questions with Reid Hoffman)

Michael, that's such an interesting question. Is this sort of accusation there that LinkedIn is promoting jobs that aren't really the jobs they're pretending to be? Or is the problem that the underlying economy has seen a kind of material deterioration in the quality of jobs? Well, so it would be the first that I've heard that LinkedIn has some kind of direct responsibility for this. So I have zero information and any other question on that vector. So I'll take it as the second question versus the first, which is,

MitÀ mieltÀ olet siitÀ, ettÀ parhaat yritykset ovat etheisesti liittyviÀ? Tietysti on paljon erilaisia, mutta tietÀvÀtkö joitain, kuten Sundar Pichais, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Maltmans ja Elon Musks, etteivÀt he ole etheisesti motivoituneita?

sanotaan, ettÀ meillÀ oli pari parhaista vuotta elÀmÀÀmme. MissÀ Sam Altman sopii siihen ja Elon Muskin samalla tavalla? PitÀisivÀtkö ihmiset ajatella, ettÀ hÀn on missionaaminen, hÀn on kiinni, mutta uskon hÀnen missionaan ja minulla on pari parhaista vuotta elÀmÀÀni?

Viisi vuosia sitten te olette olleet hyvin julkisessa kontratompissa.
