You put on those winter boots in the freezing cold and bring your kids to school.
Now is our moment to renew our commitment to the common good.
I'm asking Democrats, independents and Republicans to join our campaign.
It is a homegrown one born in a moment like no other.
I love the people of Minnesota.
And Minnesota, I want to be a transformative governor.
These times call for leaders who can stand up and not be rubber stamps of this administration, but who are also willing to find common ground and fix things in our state.
The mask should come off and the body cameras should go on.
And there must be thorough, objective, and independent investigations into these killings.
We have warned this administration.
I have personally warned them that there would be more deaths, that more of this would happen.
And clearly they're not listening.
So we ask people around the country to talk to their Republican representatives to make clear that this is not the America that is ours.
This has got to stop.
Well, I just appreciated how you captured this idea that Minnesota is, yes, been the center of America's heartbreak.
But we have also been the center of America's courage and America's hope and how ordinary people have just done the most extraordinary things that have gotten to this point.
They have stood up.
They have marched.
They have brought food to their neighbors and they have not blinked.
And I think it is something that we have learned now about how you take on this kind of just abuse of power where they have crossed the line of legality, morality and decency.
