But what's it like there?

And most Americans, you know, do not want us to buy the land.

Most Americans do not want us to invade and take over Greenland.

You know, Richard Haass, who used to head the Council of Foreign Relations, and he was a longtime foreign policy expert, worked in Republican administrations at the very high levels of government.

in this country's leadership you know he talked about studying doctrines like containment in the cold war and studying the reagan doctrine and he said this is the first time he's encountered what he's called the real estate doctrine it's the idea trump said that the united states must own a foreign territory

And it's just so ludicrous.

First of all, the United States has done a really good job at protecting Greenland without owning it.

And it's so un-American.

And I just hope the people in Greenland know that this is just not reflective of really who we are.

Sadly, it's just this president and his sycophant followers in Congress.

Think about that.

And what would you do?

What would anybody do if your country was, you know, being targeted like this?

If you love your country, you know, I'm an American.

I was born an American and I love America.

But I can imagine, as I'm sure anybody listening to this can imagine, you know, being a resident of another country and having, you know, the United States just say, well, we're going to invade and take you over.
