Chapter 1: What happened in Minnesota regarding ICE agents?
Hi, everyone. It's Truth in the Barrel. There is so much happening all at once. Our attention is being pulled in so many different directions. But today we're going to talk about the latest coming out of Minnesota. And Denver is reporting live from Nuke, Greenland.
That's it right there. That's it. I wish you could see. It's incredible. It's incredible here.
How are things in Greenland?
A little cold, but actually it was colder in Kentucky and Virginia, I think, than Greenland. It's been incredible. I've taken ships or boats out to the settlements in Greenland, all over Nook. I've talked to people in their homes.
Chapter 2: What insights does Denver share about living in Greenland?
I've broke bread with them, listened to their stories, their fear, their absolute befuddlement of the nastiness and danger that's coming out of the Trump administration. Amy, it's been one of the most incredible experiences for me.
Yeah, well, we're going to get into that. But before that, Denver, for the second time in less than three weeks, ICE has murdered a U.S. citizen, despite what Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem tell you, this man, this American citizen, was not a domestic terrorist. He was a 37-year-old registered nurse who worked in the VA caring for veterans.
And he was grabbed, beaten by six officers, and he was shot 10 times, Denver, by at least two of them. And, I mean, there's... This is crazy. First of all, I want to show a video to everybody of who this man was and see if it lines up with what the administration is saying about him, saying he was some domestic terrorist.
Today, we remember that freedom is not free. We have to work at it, nurture it, protect it, and even sacrifice for it. May we never forget and always remember our brothers and sisters who have served so that we may enjoy the gift of freedom.
Chapter 3: How did the local Greenlanders react to American political influences?
So in this moment, we remember and give thanks for their dedication and selfless service to our nation in the cause of our freedom. In this solemn hour, we render our honor and our gratitude.
You can see here, this is a man who loved veterans, who was caring. And the Department of Homeland Security Denver and the White House is trying to frame him as a terrorist. What are we doing?
I think it's the same thing that we've said, Amy, really, now that we've known each other for so long, that stupidity is terminal. But incompetence and immorality, the downstream effect of that on the United States and those who are trying to do the right thing is literally terminal. and for Alex and for Renee Goode, which I don't want people to forget about Renee, Amy.
I think what happened to her was as tragic, as grotesque as what happened to Alex. But when you have untrained ICE officers, many of them seeming to support white nationalist views,
And when you have a Stephen Miller or individuals like that coming out and trying to paint a real patriot, somebody who was in the Veterans Administration as a domestic terrorist, I think finally the infection in MAGA has boiled over.
And I also believe that seeing even Stephen Miller doing a bit of the Michael Jackson moonwalk away from this, I got to tell you, I think we're seeing massive fissures in the MAGA movement. I'm using Fishers because I'm in Greenland. It's so weird. I wouldn't have never used that word. I've seen Fishers everywhere. But massive Fishers in the MAGA movement.
I think you're seeing a split along those tectonic plates of white nationalism, the Second Amendment, and things like that.
I mean, this... American who was killed was not even at a protest. He was just there when ICE and the DHS and the Customs Border Patrol were doing some operation. And the background of all of this, if you watch the videos of what happened, and there are many out there, we look at the videos before the actual shooting happened.
The ICE agent walked up to a woman, Denver, in the middle of the street, an American citizen, who was backing away from him. And he shoved her with two hands, sending her sprawling to the ground backwards. And then the agent pepper sprays her on the ground. She's unarmed. And the Alex who was killed was trying to help this poor woman.

Chapter 4: What are the implications of ICE's actions on American citizens?
I mean, we even forget about that. I mean, just, this is crazy what these shock troops are doing. This agency is out of control.
When I saw it, And knowing who he was, you know, the Bubba Network, Amy, me and you know, the Bubba Network. Well, I knew it was a VA nurse before it was reported. We were getting the reports here in Greenland. It was a VA nurse from somebody that was known to the veterans here that was treated by Alex. So we had this bizarre thing going on. Like, do we actually report this since we already know?
Chapter 5: How does the death of Alex Pretti highlight issues with ICE?
But we didn't want to get in front of anything with the family. Right. So, you know, how fast it works in the in the military network. We knew immediately. I remember sitting with Ken Harbaugh and we're just looking at each other in shock, like shocked. That's a VA nurse that just got killed. I want to say this. The reason he went to the aid of that woman is because he was a VA nurse.
Because his first order in his soul is to protect, is to fix, is to help. And he was killed for that as an American citizen. And then they tried to paint him as a gun-toting domestic terrorist. tried to paint him as somebody evil or some kind of Antifa-organized, deep-state globalist rep who was there to kill ICE agents. It's so absurd. It's so evil.
And I think we need to get used to the word evil again. We have to. That I do believe, and you know I wouldn't have said this a month ago, Amy, you know me well. I do believe this is a turning point. It's hard for me to even say it because so many people have said it. I have not said it for the six years because I've not believed it. I know how virulent the far-right MAGA believers are.
And I say believers as a cult. You know, I'm there now. I'm just there. But to kill somebody for that innate... nurturing soul that he was is something so spectacularly disgusting. I think even some on the right are saying maybe we've gone too far.
Killing him and then lying about it.
Yes.
At the highest levels. I mean, I mean... the highest level, the cabinet member. This is why I called for the resignation of Kristi Noem. I mean, this business of turning around saying, well, the White House told me to say that. Oh, come on. She lied about this guy. She has terrible leadership. She absolutely does not deserve to be in that position. And here we have, and I hope you're right.
I hope you're right, Denver. That we have people in America who are waking up because we have the government trampling on First Amendment rights, Fourth Amendment rights now, 14th Amendment rights and Second Amendment rights. You know, this this business of I watched Greg, I think his name is Greg Bovino on CNN on Sunday morning. And I was yelling at the TV.
I told my husband, you know, turn it off because I can't stand it anymore.

Chapter 6: What are the Greenlanders' views on American intervention?
This is the guy who is the head of Border Patrol who basically said, well, he came with a weapon. He was there with a weapon. So. So what, we can't have First and Second Amendment rights now? It's just crazy.
You know, you got Oompa Loompa Ice out there, you know, with Greg Bovino. And they're trying to, you know, put Tom Homan in there. I mean, literally, it's like replace, you know, it's trying to fix gonorrhea with syphilis. You know, that's really what's going on here in America right now.
And, you know, looking at the favorability ratings downstream, did you see the report today, Amy, that only 12 states now have positive ratings for President Trump? Two of those states are at 0.4 percent. Can you believe? I think one of those states is South Dakota. The other is Nebraska.
Not only that, I thought about it today, Amy McGrath, because, you know, in Kentucky now, Trump's favorability rating is only 1.9 percent. I'm like, Amy can win.
Yeah, 1%. Yeah. And I think it's moving in the other direction. Yeah. And here's the other thing that kind of flew under the radar but should have massive red light for all Americans that love our democracy is the Trump administration, Pam Bondi, who I know you love, sent a letter to Tim Walz, the Democratic governor of Minnesota, demanding that the state...
This was the same day that Alex Priddy was shot and killed, demanding that the state hand over voter rolls. And in the letter, she said, well, if you just hand over these voter rolls, we'll take ICE out of Minnesota. I mean, that's basically what that letter said. They're using the tactics as intimidation tactics to get the state to turn over voter rolls.
Are we kidding? It's manipulation on a level of criminal activity where impeachment should be absolutely imminent. Based on what's happening with ICE, foreign affairs, tariffs here in Greenland, Denmark, NATO, the EU, everything that you're seeing is a lawless and criminal organization. I would say, really, you could probably charge them under RICO statutes.
And you have cosplaying weirdos, right? If you look at Greg Bovino with his little coat, I guess he bought it at Kids Gap. And then you have Kristi Noem dressing up as Woody from Toy Story to give a DHS briefing. I'm almost to the point, it's so insane. that it's almost embarrassing to be overseas and talk about the U.S. at times.
And that's why I think we're to a point, Amy, that there has to be impeachment. Some Republicans have to stand up. Ted Cruz threatening Trump with impeachment. Tom Tillis going after Kristi Noem. Lisa Murkowski going after Kristi Noem. You got Don Bacon starting to really stand up when we talk about tariffs and what's going on with Greenland and Denmark.

Chapter 7: How does the history of U.S. relations with Greenland affect current perceptions?
Ever. I mean, they cannot get away with just blatant lies like this.
You know, it looked like it may be possible that the weapon was taken from him and he was killed while he was unarmed, which takes it to a whole nother level. I mean, you're getting to a point now that's murder. I mean, it's literally executionist murder. But yeah, I don't know. I don't know how we would continue on this path. and continue to have a government that's effective in any way.
It seems that ignorance and conspiracy theories and far-right Christofascism has taken over in a way that I don't know how to get us back right now. But... That being said, me and you can't get us back. Me and you are truth tellers. We can go out there and we can swing the truth baseball bat all day long.
But the Republicans, there has to be a 3% to 5% change in Republican voting and habits for us, I think, to get back on the right track.
Chapter 8: What messages did the Greenlanders convey about their identity?
And maybe, again, Amy, it's weird. I know I'm an intelligence analyst. I know I'm the most – you know me. I am not optimistic. I am Mr. Pessimistic when it comes to this, but for some reason, looking at the data, looking at the polling, looking at the comments, looking at Republicans who are speaking out now, Maybe.
And if you look at, OK, when can we change if impeachment of somebody like Kristi Noem? I think all of them should be fired. I think everybody that is ahead of any of these agencies should be fired. But if that's not going to happen, you've got to think about, OK, what can happen? Well, we can wait to the midterms. OK, what? We're all working toward that end, and voting really does matter.
But there's this DHS funding package that's up in the House and the Senate right now. Lots of Democrats in the Senate have said they won't vote for this package, may cause another government shutdown. I certainly would not vote for any more money to DHS as it currently stands with that agency being so out of control and the leadership being so insanely bad.
The Senate right now is debating another $10 billion for ICE. But here's the thing, Denver, Congress already locked in $19 billion a year for that agency over the next four years. That's like three times more funding than per year that that agency gets than it had had previous to that. Three times more funding. So they already have a ton of funding.
Can you imagine if ISIS is better funded than the National Security Agency or the CIA? I mean, people should be like, okay, maybe we shouldn't be funding an internal police force that murders American citizens. It's that simple of a sentence. Maybe we shouldn't be hiring people who are inexperienced. Maybe we shouldn't be hiring Proud Boys.
Maybe we shouldn't be hiring those that were pardoned by the president for storming the Capitol. Maybe we should actually hire professionals and have professionals in charge rather than people like Greg Pavino or Tom Homan or Kristi Noem or upchain to Pam Bondi or upchain to J.D.
Vance or upchain to somebody who's – I don't know if they're deliberately insane or is going insane and doesn't know it. It's Donald Trump. So listen, it all comes from the top, right? That rot, it's rot, and that rot has infected the Republican Party on a level I don't know if – it'll be decades to get it back.
Well, DHS funding, in my mind, needs to be carved off of this bill. We don't need to shut the government down. You can keep the rest of the government running. You carve off the DHS funding and no more funding for this agency without major legal constraints placed on ICE, things like body cams, getting rid of the masks, and in my belief, getting rid of the leadership. I'll just leave it at that.
I can't say it better.
