President Trump says there will be a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine over the weekend, as well as a prisoner swap.

The ceasefire, which Trump says will last May 9th through the 11th, coincides with Russia's Victory Day celebrations.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the move, posting on social media that there will be a prisoner swap of 1,000 people from each side, and he expects the U.S.

to ensure Russia fulfills the agreement.
