Over the last 12 months.

Across all different fund types.

The lowest performing KiwiSaver fund was negative 2.4%.

So that is a 20% difference between the top performing KiwiSaver fund and the lowest.

Now, to put that into perspective, if you were earning 100k a year and you had 80k in your KiwiSaver balance today and you were investing for another 20 years...

That difference, 20% over 20 years, is $4.56 million.

Yeah.

So that it's... Now, in reality, that's not going to happen because we're comparing conservative funds to aggressive funds and we're only looking over a 12-month period.

So then I looked specifically at growth funds.

So these growth funds all should...

in theory, have the same amount of risk, right?

Yeah.

So comparing different providers.

Yeah.

So the, and looking at over 10 years, so we've got a good, you know, it's not 12 months.

So over 10 years, the number one performer was 9.8% on average per year.

And the lowest performing growth fund was 6.5% on average per year.

Yeah.

Over that 10 years.

So a difference of 3.3%.
