So these people used to live in Auckland and they moved to Christchurch with the rest of the country.

Everyone is moving to Christchurch.

Yeah, because they're all going to Christchurch.

So yeah, these guys used to live in mid-30s, moved to Christchurch a couple of years ago.

They had a home in Auckland, which is worth about a million bucks.

They rented out...

their home in Auckland, they're renting in Christchurch, they want to buy a home for them to live in.

And they can't because they don't have enough deposit or equity because now the investment property in Auckland, they can only get 70% lending against that property.

So for them, the only real way to be able to get into a home is to sell the investment property, take that money, put that into buying a home in Christchurch.

Well, I did, you know, point out to them that like Auckland, gosh, we have got to be like at the bottom of the property cycle, you know.

And so it is possible that there's going to be some good upswing to Auckland.
