So there you go.
Here's the story.
I woke up after working for myself for three years, building my own damn dream and not wanting to get out of bed.
And it was because I had this call with this client that was going to sit there on the phone again, week over week over week and say, you don't even know what we're doing.
We're doing all these other advertising things.
We're doing these other marketing things.
You don't know how competitive our space is because you're not in our city.
Yada, yada, yada.
Okay.
Why did you hire me?
Oh, it was, it was four figures, 1500 a month or something to just talk on the phone once a week.
And it was like, okay, um, I can't do this anymore because no matter how much money I am making from any client, if I don't feel like I'm making an impact and I saw myself, I looked at them.
It wasn't just them.
I looked at my portfolio and I was like,
I'm not proud of this.
I have nothing to brag about.
I'm not saying look at what I've done, look at what I've done because no one's doing what I asked.
Nobody's asking, you know, how can I test what you're saying before I dismiss it?
And what I had found was I had targeted such a small business with my content strategy on Savvy Sexy Social that the ones who were scrappy and willing to try it couldn't afford me.
So that's where the membership group came into play.
