for a long period of time and allow that plan to do its work, you know?
And so like, that's an example.
I think building a business is an example of, hey, like if you put your head down and you don't just try to follow the money and like try to build this thing quick
It's like if you build something over time, you'll learn lessons, you'll make connections, you'll make tweaks and adjustments that ultimately, you know, provide a solid foundation that you can't get anywhere else.
And then, I mean, in relationships as well, I think like the understanding and the calm that it can bring to say, all right, you know, there's a ton of different options.
When things get heated around the house, it's like, let me, it's tempting to think, oh, like what, you know,
What can I do to change Sean?
And why isn't she listening to me?
And why do I have this frustration?
But what I've realized is that if I can't change Sean and I'm not going to change the marriage commitment, then the only thing left, like we talked about, is what I can change about myself.
And then that becomes a really exciting process of...
I am so glad we're talking about this.
But to your point, Kim, like it, and it kind of goes back to the idea of calm.
Like when you are able to have the trust that, Hey, we can have this argument and try to, you know, enlighten each other with a different perspective.
Then that takes off this edge and this urgency and this desperation or the panic that can happen of like, Oh my gosh, no, I just like, no, no, don't leave me.
Like it changes the conversation completely.
And I think that's really powerful.
It'll pay off maybe in having the successful outcome that you're hoping for and striving for.
But it will definitely pay off with the meaning that you built over time.
