So that's kind of, you know, quite an amazing opportunity

place to start your career i guess um and uh you know so i did the two years there i started as one and they progressed into two went back finished my degree and then went back there and went over to uh ilmore and or mercedes high performance engines as it was as it turned into

And I built the V10 and all that kind of stuff.

And then it just got banned just before basically it went in the car, unfortunately.

So yeah, I mean, that was kind of my road in, you know what I mean?

I kind of did all the stuff at uni, like Formula Holden, volunteering in Formula Ford, you know what I mean?

All that normal stuff, but yeah.

Yeah, the F1 engine, the engine side of it, that was, I mean, that was amazing to be part of.

You know, you would never think that that type of project would exist in Australia.

Yeah, look, it started out, it was Arthur Bishop.

It was called Bishop and Arthur Bishop, who was a founder there, I guess.

He had the patent on this rotary valve head that he'd come up with.

And they did all sorts of stuff.

They did steering and they did all sorts of things.

innovation work, I guess, if you like.

This was just one of his projects and it went on for a while and it's a pretty small, I mean, there's only four people working on this thing.

And so, you know, they had some money and they developed this thing to a point.

They went over to England, the F1 teams and spruiked it and said, who wants to, who's interested in this?

Only one team was interested.
