Everything was separate.

Even over there within Ilmore was trying to keep it as quiet as possible.

Separate machining shop, you know, like everything quiet and still it kind of gets out.

Yeah, pretty much.

So look, the project, you know, they tried to take it to some other people, some other categories, but yeah, it's a difficult sell, you know what I mean?

Everyone's got their own technology and it's high risk for someone, right, to take something like that on.

But...

yeah it was an impressive it was an impressive bit of kit um you know very low cg would have amazing packaging um in the car so yeah it's a real shame you know formula one used to be that innovation

And now it's so microscopic, you know what I mean?

A bit like what our sport is, you know what I mean?

You can hardly see it, right?

Back then there was big ideas and changes.

So it's a shame we don't see that anymore in any motorsport.

It's just too expensive.

I guess someone, you know, it is expensive.

But that's what motorsport, that was the passion for me.

That was the fun of motorsport in those days was different ideas, different packages, trying to outsmart other people with different technology.

Oh, I was third year uni when I left.

So I was supposed to be for one year.

So what am I at uni?
