So from here, you would have been abased here for a fortnight and you would be going out every night.

So, Ken, so you would come in and in here in 43, 44, what would we have seen in this structure?
Would we have seen bunks either side?
And what was the lighting?
What did you use for lighting?
Well, this is slightly different because they've made use of the quarry surroundings.
And obviously quite a few of them worked in the quarry.
So we're quite used to handling explosives and digging out.
And this is what this one really is.
Usually they're in a forest or a copse or something like that.
So this is a little bit different.
But it does give you that impression of just how grim it would have been.
