That's who he is.

But it's the work ethic.

Like I said, this is a guy who, you know, his life changed in high school with football.

A coach really turned his life around.

and played Canadian Football League, got injured in Florida during college football.

This is a guy who has been on all ends of the spectrum.

Three days before we started filming Game Plan where he played a quarterback on the football field at Gillette Stadium, he snapped his Achilles heel.

Doing what?

We saw the footage from the rehearsal.

I was expecting something, a rollout, and he twisted.

He literally takes two steps, goes up and pop.

But this is what they say.

There's a perfect alignment that can happen with your foot that when it hits one spot and another spot, that's where it snaps.

It makes a pop that you can hear that it literally... And he knew, without being diagnosed, he went down and he knew.

He heard the pop.

He knew it was the abuse.

This guy literally, like, this is three days before filming where you're on the football field and everybody's kind of... Nobody's...

you know, blitzing you at that, like, you're the star of the movie.

Everyone's just practicing.

And, yeah, it shut us down for a couple of months, and that guy willed himself back to hell.
