When you've seen something happen three or four times over your career, you start to recognize not just how to prevent it, but also how to solve it immediately.

Okay.

So like this big fire, the first time it happens, you know, usually people's big fire in entrepreneurship comes from owing taxes.

All right.

Almost everybody goes through a thing where they get this letter in the mail and it's this absurd amount of, and they're like, fuck.

Mm-hmm.

And it sucks, okay?

But what happens?

You address it the first time, and then maybe it happens a little bit again, and then you start to understand how to keep that from happening.

You realize it's not that big of a problem.

Well, yes, you gain the confidence in your own skill set and ability to solve the problem.

And when you know how to solve the problem,

the anxiety doesn't exist anymore, right?

The problems that really cause you stress as a seasoned entrepreneur are the ones that you just don't know the answer to.

When we have a problem in any of the companies,

and it's something that's happened before, it's very easy to walk in and talk to Sal or Jason or Chris and say, hey, we fucking saw this.

We got to do this.

And they already know, right?

And by the way, as your company matures and you get better leaders, the leaders will know that ahead of time and you will stop seeing those things, which can be good and bad sometimes depending on who you have.
