It's not what can we do to make things better.

It's what can we do to make sure that we win elections no matter what.

And what can we do to make sure that they never notice how much we're actually oppressing them?

And the answer is to cause massive division, to culturally demoralize people, to make people consumers of convenience, to make people fat, to make people sick, to make people stupid, to make people hate each other.
