Let's knock through the AI ads at the Super Bowl.
Okay, cool.
So first of all, to do a 30-second ad at the Super Bowl this year was $8 million.
Wow.
So every one of these companies that I list here is having to have spent a minimum of $8 million to just have one 30-second spot.
And there are some of the larger companies, say Gemini, had higher-level sponsorships, which cost, I'm sure, many tens of millions of dollars.
But so...
There was a lot of news last week about Claude's pregame ads that they kind of released that were supposed to show or similar ads would be showing at the Super Bowl.
And then there was dialogue basically back and forth about whether that was a fair representation of what OpenAI's ads would be like.
And so on.
But the actual ad that Claude put forth was actually, you know, tempered a little bit.
It did not kind of declare that ads would look like, you know, the assistant in interjecting, you know, commercial propositions right in the middle of their efforts to assist you in a in a personal matter, for example.
