And this has to do with the whole emergence of the Chinese model development and pursuit of advanced AI.
at apparently lower cost and with higher quality than what's being delivered in the U.S.
model.
So we just recently, just yesterday, talked about Kimi K2, which is in their thinking version.
state-of-the-art in reasoning and so on and cost less than five million dollars to train uh compared to you know billions to to train one of the trillion parameter models and it is a trillion parameter model so they they found ways around the chip embargoes and all that to do this very well now another one of the major players that's the company called moonshot they've
Another player, name will be familiar because of TikTok, is ByteDance.
Now, ByteDance is a multi-company conglomerate, but TikTok's one of their products out there.
But ByteDance is also a major AI developer, and they have just unveiled a coding agent that you can hire for just $1.30 a month.
Okay, so now this is like against all of the sort of vibe coding platforms out there.
It sets state-of-the-art record on the SWE bench verified test, software engineering bench.
and it supports popular development tools like Cursor and Klein and has VECLI.
It's compatible with Anthropix API and it can process up to 256,000 words per query.
So it handles complex code bases.
This is a very less, much less expensive version of what is now becoming one of the major ways that
AI is transforming the world of technology, which is developer tools.
And anyway, I just I just saw that today.
And it's just really astounding that they can afford because of the lower costs of their development cycles to charge only around a dollar a month for you to use that coding agent.
I did.
I'm sorry.
I did want to, I want to respond to a comment in the chat from Jeff, which is nobody has spent billions to train a model yet.
