But downloads dropped 32% in December and 45% in January.

Stronger competition is the reason.

And you've got Gemini's VO3.

Meta's vibes is another thing that's kind of taking away from the dramatic interest in Sora.

And importantly, Grok Imagine is now topping the leaderboards on artificial analysis, text and image to video leaderboards.

It's at number one now.

And it comes just behind VO3 and Sora Pro in Ella Marina's video arena.

So Grok Imagine is really up there at the top of the charts, and it's dramatically cheaper than anything else.

So they just released an API for the Grok Imagine service.

It costs $4.20 per minute with audio included, and that compares to VO3 at $12 a minute and Sora 2 Pro at $30 a minute.

But it beats them, or it actually doesn't beat those two.

Sora Pro is actually going to beat it marginally.
