Let's look at this.
Going back to February of 2022, the year-over-year change in the number of iOS apps released.
And you see that between February 2022 and pretty much February of 2025 last year, things, with a few exceptions of months above the line, it was less each year.
It was going down.
And then, boom!
Now it's 60% up over the prior year in the month of December 2025.
Well, you might have seen advertisements, and I see them on social media, for Replit saying now you can build an iOS app and push it to the app store on Apple using Replit.
And so this is assumed to be what's happening to app development as a result of vibe coding apps like Replit.
And Replit is not the only one that will allow you to do that, but they've tried to smooth the path for people who are non-technical so that you can actually go through the review and approval process right from the Replit console.
Replit, if you don't recall, Replit is like lovable, but has a slightly different architecture and support framework and has been around for longer than lovable and is nonetheless rapidly becoming just as easy for non-technical users to develop applications and now for mobile particularly.
And you can see that in the iOS App Store traffic.

They have a thing called Stanford Precollegiate Studies that's been around for some time, apparently.
And so this is aimed at high school students.
