And this program now is being made available through Stanford HAI.
And there's a link to that sort of thing.
And so if you're a ninth grader right now, so just going into high school,
you can apply to a program that's hosted by Stanford where you can do AI hands-on research projects with mentorship from Stanford researchers.
Think PhD students at Stanford will be helping these ninth grade students.
And that can be done online to a much larger audience, but there's also going to be a residential summer program available to those who are,
Ninth graders, and I'm sure that over time, if this is successful, Stanford and many other institutions will expand these programs to really do intensive training in the important hands-on practical skills of using AI.
And this is really a feel-good thing for me because when I was in high school, I was in a Department of Defense high school in Japan.
And it was, let's say, not the most high quality academic institution.
But a counselor there brought my father in and said, you know, Andy has aptitude.
And so I recommend that you send him to a summer enrichment program stateside.
And so I on two different successive summers after my junior year and after my senior year, when I had graduated and was going to go on to Dartmouth, I went to the Phillips Exeter Academy summer program.
It's an eight week program in Exeter, New Hampshire, at this very, you know, more prestigious institution.
high school that the wealthy Boston Brahmins send their kids to or whatever.
Anyway, that was really an eye-opener for me.
And I think this program from Stanford online and or in the residential summer program is going to be similar for a whole new generation of people.
And I hope that this kernel that Stanford's putting out there spreads.
This is the kind of thing that we have to do
Well, the online program may not be so expensive.
