You have this in application in the most AI skillful groups of people out there.
They're using this linear thing.
And then yesterday, the CEO of Linear announced a major announcement.
augmentation let's say of the linear platform as it's being used out there and this is changing the way the ai augmented workflows happen inside a major company like that so here's here's a just a little example of what an ai augmented workflow looks like now when you're using linear so somebody's in slack they mentioned they see a bug
Well, Linear is watching Slack.
It's an AI itself right now.
It's not just a ticket tracking system.
It's grown to the point where it's much smarter than that.
And so the Linear agent sees this issue and creates a tracked issue for it.
And then a developer in another space, that developer could be an agent or it could be a human.
they open the issue and they click on a link that's already existing in linear to clog code.
or to Cursor, or to Gemini CLI, or whatever you're using, right?
It doesn't matter which one you're using.
A linear is the orchestrator of all of this process.
So now the AI agent that's the coding agent receives the full issue context and generates an initial feature branch to correct this issue, and linear is managing this whole process.
So the developer then, the human developer,
merges the pull request that's generated by linear and automatically updates the issue status.
And so now you have like evolving from a ticket tracking system.
You add AI to that ticket tracking system and linear becomes an essential component to the agentic world of AI software development now out there.
