With me today is Andy. I think it's the Andy and Brian show today. We'll see if maybe Carl or anybody else pops in the door. But otherwise, we're excited to be here. Hey, everybody in the comments are ready. Appreciate y'all being lively and ready to do this from wherever you are around the world. Speaking of which, too, Andy, I'll just call this out. I had a quick chance to look at some...
Spotify numbers and not to bore our audience with it or whatever, but this is kind of about our audience, which is to say we're really starting to grow pretty fast on Spotify. We've picked up the pace quite a bit for whatever reason. A couple of our last shows are some of our best shows in terms of streams or downloads and things like that. And so it's been nice to kind of see this push.
And I always like to just zoom out to like, it gives you all time, which is kind of nice to see where Spotify started, which is like, it doesn't even register on the graph. And I had shared the graph with you guys in the Slack channel. Um, but I say all that to say that, uh, you know, it we're now, we're now seeing roughly, um, what was it? Six new subscribers per day.
And we're averaging that over the last 30 days. which for us is like, that's a massive, a massive amount of grit. So number one, I want to say hi to everybody who might be a recent subscriber or a recent follower of the show. We know you're out there.
I was actually looking at it and yes, half of our audience is in the United States, but that means half the audience is somewhere else around the world, including the UK and a bunch of other countries, Australia and everywhere else. So Oh, yeah. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Canada is a hotspot for the daily AI show. It is. I don't I think Canada is probably second. You're probably right.
Now you're making me want to go to the analytics on it. I think you're right about that. Sorry, you don't have permission to access that. Why would I not have permission to access the homepage? That's a different problem with Spotify. Never mind. You're probably right. Canada is probably second to the U.S. and then a bunch of other places. Jen says, let's go Team Maple in the comments.
So anyway, I just want to say welcome to everybody because, you know, yes, this is episode 680. I think it was 9, 689 today. That's a lot of episodes. We're coming up on 700 here pretty soon. But that doesn't mean that if you're listening or watching us that you've known us for the 700th. the statistics say otherwise, that you probably just met us. So I just want to say welcome.
We appreciate you, especially if you're a subscriber. But look, it makes a big difference when you guys like or just, you know, pass on. It's kind of like the easiest way for you to say this is something I'm into. And then it helps the algorithm pass it on to other people. So whether you're on
watching us on youtube linkedin or spotify and spotify pushes out to all the other podcast platforms so we also know that there's people on like apple podcasts and other places as well uh that get to hear us um and that's all done at least internally that's done through our spotify platform it pushes it to other podcasts which is nice we only have to do it once so that's all out of the way but i just want to say welcome to everybody we appreciate you being here
