If you could take us to the early days of golf at the old course, what did it look like and what did the golf course look like?
Would it be, if you look at the beach and you see the dunes, right, would it be almost imagining looking at that and there'd be just, you'd pick a point in the distance and play there?
A drive, yeah.
Like ricocheted across, yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, wild time.
Yeah.
When did it become an 18-hole course?
And when was it this reversible course?
Or what was the terminology then of this course?
When did that come to be?
An amazing trivia item would be, what are the newest holes on the old course?
Most people wouldn't ever think it'd be one in 18.
Unbelievable.
It's like all these societal influences that led to golf and the hole being built.
Um,
At this point, is it a reversible course?
And how did it work?
How did they go about changing which direction you played in?
So effectively, because most people here will experience this, because you're playing and you're going to have tee shots going in opposite directions while people are playing hole, that's how they decided the right-hand course had to win out.
